Our Port

Drogheda Port is Ireland’s premier north east port serving both the region and the greater Dublin area. Over 1.5 million tonne of bulk, breakbulk and specialist cargo transits the port annually, to and from Europe, Scandinavia and UK. 

Our reputation is built on high levels of customer service, flexibility, and the rapid turnaround of vessels. We offer customer-oriented logistics through a range of full service stevedoring and cargo storage facilities. The port is also an ideal location for onsite port centric warehousing and distribution with over half of Irelands population within a 50km radius. The port is located on the M1 East Coast Corridor connecting Ireland’s two largest cities, Dublin and Belfast. It is a thriving hub of economic activity with established multinational and indigenous businesses across multiple industry sectors.

Sustainability is at the heart of our development philosophy and we are currently in a masterplanning and growth phase to ensure the port continues to contribute significantly to Irelands international trade, economic development and employment in the region.
